This photo was taken in 1967 at a Rice football game when I was a freshman (note the beanie). I am sitting next to David Merritt and Jim Caldwell. All of the guys around me were from Wiess College and we have all had a few brewskies. During the game, a dog ran out onto the field. The officials caught it and brought it to me to take care of during the remainder of the game. This photo was in the 1968 yearbook and is courtesy of many hours of searching by Scooter at the Rice Archives. Thanks, Scooter, for a great memory and Christmas present!
